We'll hike the entire Seven Hills Trail. The hike is 8+
miles long with lots of ups and downs and great views.
Possible side jaunt to the Russian Bear and/or Ramapo
Torne. Bring water, snacks, and

Walk Across
New Jersey 13 is the last in a series of a thirteen hikes crossing the Garden
State. From the Weehawken ferry terminal we will walk along the Hudson River
waterfront walkway and the top of the palisades to reach the George Washington
Bridge. Then we cross into New York City, ending at the GWB bus terminal. The
hike is 10-14 essentially flat miles (with a couple of short climbs to the top
of the palisades) at a moderately brisk pace on city streets and park paths.
Bring lunch, snacks and water. Awful or
dangerous weather cancels. Joint Hike with Shorewalkers, Outdoors Club.

From I-287 Exit 55: Take Rt-511 (Ringwood Ave.) north 4 miles
(becomes Greenwood Tpk) and turn left onto Westbrook Rd. Go west on Westbrook
Rd. and make a left at “Y” intersection, then ½ mi. to a left onto Snake Den
Road. Follow road to parking lot on right before Weis Ecology. Do not drive

This circular ride will start at Warbasse JCT and will take
us on the Sparta Junction, Sussex Branch, Great Valley, Paulinskill Valley
trails, and finally along a beautiful lake to another stretch of the Sussex
Branch Rail Trail for a total of about 16 miles. Bring water and lunch. You must call & register (leave
number) to ensure ride is still on! Helmets required. Rain will postpone ride to the following Sat.

May 22-26, 2015 Memorial Day AT
Hike - Maryland Border
Northward

We are going to hike the AT in Pennsylvania in sections
from the Maryland border north. It will be hilly, but very pretty with pastoral
views. Some sections in the 10-14 mile range. Arrive in the area the night of
May 22. We will Section hike May 23, 24, & 25th with an optional
half day hike on May 26th. This is intended as a car assisted hike where we
carpool to the start and shuttle cars to the end of the days hike. The leaders
have booked accommodation for 9 in a cabin at Caledonia State Park. All 9 spaces are currently taken.
But it is possible to camp at Caledonia State Park or get a motel room in the
vicinity. If you are interested please register with Guy for the overflow
groups. The leaders will send housing suggestions to you in late March.

tollbooths stay to right for first exit, Woodbury & Rt-32. Take Rt-32 north

Mountainville, NY. Turn left, go to first road (Taylor Road) turn left again,
and proceed to parking lot on right side of road after crossing over thruway.
From Rt-17: Travel north on
